Pickering is a market town and civil parish in North Yorkshire, England, on the border of the North York Moors National Park , and is known for its picturesque surroundings, providing the perfect base to explore North Yorkshire, Dalby Forest, and the North York Moors. Historically part of the North Riding of Yorkshire, it is at the foot of the moors, overlooking the Vale of Pickering to the south. It is sited where the older limestone and sandstone rocks of the North York Moors meet the glacial deposits of the Vale of Pickering.

Coach Fare: £13. Cash Only. (Children, who must be accompanied by an adult: over 5 - £5, under 5 -free)

The coach leaves from Claremont Rd, Newcastle upon Tyne NE2 4PT

It will be there for boarding from 9.00am and will depart at 9.30am

The coach leaves our finishing point at 18:00 pm to return to Newcastle

Refreshments are always available at the end of the walks before the return to Newcastle
