Tebay is a small village and civil parish in Cumbria, situated in the Upper Lune Valley within the Yorkshire Dales National Park. The walking is fabulous especially in the nearby compact cluster of Howgill Hills. In the words of Alfred Wainwright “They are sleek and smooth, looking from a distance, like velvet curtains in the sunlight, like silken drapes at sunset; they are steep side but gently domed, and beautiful in a way that few hilly areas are.” On previous walks we have definitely seen days where that description is spot on: a trip not to be missed. There are other highlights too, such as Cautley Spout waterfall.

It will be there for boarding from 9.00am and will depart at 9.30am
The coach leaves our finishing point at 18:00 pm to return to Newcastle
Refreshments are always available at the end of the walks before the return to Newcastle
