An informal social event is being organised to see Simon Yates present an account of his mountain adventures, including the extraordinary events of June 1985 which became the subject of the best-selling book and film, 'Touching the Void'.

Described as a dryly humorous account of his more than four decades of mountaineering, and featuring images and film, Simon will be appearing at Chelmsford Theatre Studio for one night only at 7:30 pm on Wednesday, 21st October.  Tickets are priced at £23.00 - £25.00 and concessions may be available.

If you would like to join Hike Essex members at this event, perhaps meeting for food and/or drinks beforehand, please purchase your own tickets from the venue and then contact the event organiser.   

There is no time limit for your response and there are no restrictions regarding Hike Essex membership, but when seeking to buy tickets, please bear in mind please bear in mind that this is a small venue with limited ticket numbers.
